Job Summary
To manage and support an application in use by our customer by identifying and recommending functional and technological solutions to improve business processes. This would include planning and budgeting as well as meeting reporting requirements to improve business processes.
Job Details
- Ensure the application operates to meet the client’s planning and budgeting objectives by supporting and testing the application according to technical specifications.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring the application load process (ad hoc requests and nightly scheduled loads), data validation, and addressing load issues.
- Optimize applications to enhance performance for data loads, aggregations and calculations, and data retrievals.
- Oversee master data management and governance for the application with primary focus on workforce, capital, and financials module.
- Ensure application compliance with policies, procedures, and change control process.
- Provide primary support in the modifying, testing, and maintenance of reports and dashboards utilizing ad-hoc queries, smart view, financial reports requested by users, and other tools as required.
- Work with technical team to communicate when patch/upgrade will be done on the application and relate the new features after upgrade to the customer.
Requirements
- BSc in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance. A Master’s degree in the following would be advantageous.
- 1 - 2 years’ experience of Cloud based ERP or other Financial and Budgeting application.
- Experience working with organizations with complex enterprise integrated.
- Familiar with core business process including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management (bank reconciliations), projects & grants, budgeting, and forecasting
- Good understanding of multi-dimensional database management
- Good understanding of object-oriented design, modeling tools
- Ability to maintain application designs using industry standard system modeling processes and tools
- Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and proffer solutions.
- Ability to plan and manage concurrent tasks, assignments, and projects
- Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to take ownership of problems, work alone or with others to follow them to a successful resolution.
- Adheres to internal procedures and suggests improvements if needed.
- Excellent relationship skills, including written and verbal communications, and group presentation skills in both technical and business.
- Outstanding customer service.
- Ability to bring out cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including management, customers, and other technical stakeholders.

- Flexibility with working schedule and ability to provide service after office hours if necessary
